It appeared Speaker of the House Paul Ryan had an aha moment on March 26 following the defeat of the Republican medical bill. It seemed he finally realized what Democrats have known for eight years.
Quoting Ryan, "We were a 10-year opposition party, where being against things was easy to do."
It was probably the most profound and intelligent thing he has said in a long time. The shoe is on the other foot, and it hurts.
