The Oct. 9 story, "For a majority of renters, Duluth is unaffordable," was correct: Rent is way too high in Duluth. One would think some apartments were made of gold!
There are others issues as well, such as that 95 percent (if not more) of landlords don't allow pets. What is one to do if they have a pet? There are also some landlords who take quite a while to do repairs.
There really needs to be more affordable housing in Duluth for low-income people and more decent-paying jobs.
