Our cousin and his wife, Arne and Solbjorg Kolsrud of Notodden, Norway, visited us this past July. As we drove along Skyline Parkway we stopped to take pictures. They were surprised to see how much the hills and water reminded them of Notodden and wanted to share that with their family and friends.
Enger Park impressed them with its panoramic view, and they were delighted with Leif Erikson Park and the Rose Garden. We told them the boat will be repaired and they must come back to see it.
They are proud of King Harald and Queen Sonja, who I know also found our city beautiful.
