I just read the front-page news story about Blake Wedan's driving record ("Skydiving pilot had driving violations," Nov. 8). Wedan was the hero who landed a plane involved in a mid-air collision and whose abilities saved lives.
I do not know Wedan, but to attack a hero's driving record seems a bit disgraceful to me and unrelated to the original story. I called the News Tribune to ask who wrote the article, and I was told it was a group of writers. I guess I would not have wanted my name associated with the article either.
