The News Tribune does it again. So it's hot, front-page news that Blake Wedan, who miraculously landed a plane after a mid-air collision, had a past driving under the influence charge (later reduced) and some speeding tickets ("Skydiving pilot had driving violations," Nov. 8)? How many speeding tickets have you News Tribune people had in your past?
Is this great journalism, digging up whatever little pieces of negative history you can find to tarnish a celebration of survival? I think the newspaper needs to raise its professional standards. This story was in really poor taste.
