This year is an important one for voters in the United States and Minnesota. It is one where it will be decided if the voters want this country to forego all traditional values.
In my opinion, the Democratic Party has abandoned traditional marriage and protection for the unborn. According to the Minnesota Family Council, "The only thing that stopped the bill to legalize same-sex marriage was a veto by Gov. (Tim) Pawlenty last year. If they (Democrats) capture the governorship this year, it will become law."
If we do not want to give up these values -- specifically, traditional marriage and the protection of innocent human life -- we need to elect people who will support and defend the values we want to govern our country and lives.
