In 1975, Secretary of State Henry Kissinger proclaimed, "America is prepared to wage war for oil." In 1981, a swing to right-wing neoconservatism began under President Reagan and continued under President George H.W. Bush.
Neoconservatives advocate employing American economic and military power to bring "liberalism, democracy and human rights" to other countries, their goal seeming to be globalization and one-world government.
After the U.S. Supreme Court arbitrarily awarded the presidency to George W. Bush, his administration included notable neoconservative "chicken hawk" Dick Cheney, as Jesse Ventura and others have called him; warmonger John Bolton; and a network of neoconservatives called the "Vulcans" (Read "Rise of the Vulcans: The History of Bush's War Cabinet," by Jim Mann). The Vulcans include Condoleezza Rice, Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Armitage, also known as the "Bush War Cabinet."
In their desire for power, they concocted the weapons-of-mass-destruction threat that left President Obama facing two wars, domestic and worldwide financial and economic crises and the loss of America's credibility.
Abetted by blasphemous, self-serving talk show savants, spewing fabricated rhetoric, "Republicants" have attempted to portray Obama as the architect of their failed policies. They have defined Republicanism as reactionary, unilateral and nonproductive. They have inferred that their "nay" votes are in reality "aye" votes, protecting us from socialism and fascism. Rational thinking brings effective solutions, blasphemy and continuous, unbridled opposition and divisiveness. Those things spawn malcontents and Tea Party activists who oppose big government while accepting entitlements and stimulus just as anti-unionists once accepted the eight-hour work day and five-day work week.

Benito Mussolini defined fascism as corporatism, "the merger of government and corporate power," a definition recently upheld by our Supreme Court's decision on corporate contributions to political parties.
In the vernacular of Sarah Palin, How's Republicanism workin' for ya? Drill, baby, drill!
