Duluth is a sight to be admired. Observing Duluth on foot is much more mind-wrenching than driving. As I walk, the view has become more old couches, old refrigerators, old stoves, old mattresses, old chests of drawers, old bookcases, old rugs, old washers, old dryers, cardboard boxes and debris.
If anyone is intended to clean up, who would a person notify? Does anyone else notice this debris? It's especially bad between Mesaba Avenue and 21st Avenue East.
I am afraid of rats and squirrels and skunks. They are building their homes for the winter. Their nests only create more babies, and they will move from one area to the next. We might end up with a pest-control problem in Lakeside. Pests carry rabies and are very dirty.
