In the Oct. 23 story, "Getting high; not hiding it," a user of synthetic marijuana said while smoking in a park with his child, "My son is getting fresh air; if he needs his diaper changed, I can do that for him. If he needs something to eat or drink, I can get that for him. I just feel ..."
I just felt sad for the future of that toddler.
If the responsibilities of being a parent were limited to changing a diaper and providing food and drink, then a parent feeling mellow and "like a ball of goo," as one user described the effects of smoking synthetic marijuana, would be all a child needs. If only parenting was that easy.
