Reader's view: Bullying still happens in Duluth

She has a heart of gold yet isn’t given a chance when a mistake is made. She has a summons for disorderly conduct, yet the bully gets off scot-free. Without the option of being heard by a court system first, she is being evicted two days before she is to be in court.
Where is the system, the one Duluth speaks so highly of when children are bullied? I called the police for help and guidance. I talked to a TV representative and was told to write it all down and the producers would look it over and decide what to do.
No matter what happens in this, I can’t hold my head high in Duluth because of the way our “system” works.
These are not words of vengeance to get even; they are words that hurt my heart because of bullies living within our walls. If I don’t stand for those who cannot do it themselves, then there is something terribly wrong with where I live. And I feel for the ones who want to continue in the thinking that there is no bullying in our city.
