Reader's view: Blue Cross changes don’t affect Medicare, group health policies

As an insurance agent, I would like to clarify the article on Blue Cross’ plans and network changes (“Blue Cross slashes individual market plan options for 2017,” June 25). These changes affect only individual plans; they do not affect Medicare or group health policies.
We are getting an enormous amount of concern from area seniors, and I want to set their minds at ease that their Medicare plans are not ending.
