Reader's View: Bike licenses could help ease pothole problem

Potholes in Duluth are bad and are going to get worse this winter.
Maybe all of us who ride bikes can help. Bring back the license fee for all the people who ride bikes around Duluth and use the parks and roadways. I think this would help pay for more potholes to be fixed.
I think it’s only right for us bike riders to pay a fee. I enjoy biking, and I feel I should and will pay the license fee if passed by law in hopes of having better roads on which to ride. All riders should have a license on their bike as I did when I was younger.
