I’m writing to support Donna Bergstrom, a candidate for Minnesota Senate. She has several outstanding qualifications and will serve us well.
In 2010, Bergstrom retired as a lieutenant colonel from the Marine Corps Reserve with 20-plus years of service. She has a degree in political science, a master’s of jurisprudence degree in children’s law and policy, and a law degree from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Currently, Bergstrom works for the state of Minnesota as a guardian ad litem for St. Louis County child-protection cases.
Bergstrom’s service with the Duluth Center for Changing Lives, a Lutheran Social Service initiative to end youth homelessness, gives her firsthand experiences with problems facing our city.
She’s also is a member of the Red Lake tribe and serves on the Duluth American Indian Commission.
Bergstrom is a strong supporter of the Constitution. She feels the state budget should support the highest priorities to avoid deficits - needs instead of wants.
Bergstrom is a conservative Republican. She has had a variety of life experiences with a high level of responsibility and authority, making her very qualified to serve as senator.
I ask that you vote for Donna Bergstrom for state Senate District 7.
