I just read the article on the front page of the Nov. 25 News Tribune about a woman arrested for threatening two anti-abortion demonstrators with a knife outside the Building for Women on East First Street ("Woman accused of brandishing knife at protest," Nov. 25).
When commenting about the incident, the executive director of the Women's Health Center of Duluth, which is a tenant at the Building for Women, and which provides abortion services for women in our area, was quoted as saying, "We abhor violence of any kind."
If this was true, the director and others at the center should abhor themselves and their profession. I can't think of too many things more violent than terminating the life of an innocent and defenseless unborn child. Maybe folks who provide abortion services should find another line of work.
