There has been so much said about how people not wearing masks are selfish. But there might be good reasons why they’re not. There might be health issues like asthma or COPD that make it hard to breathe while wearing a mask. Also, some might be claustrophobic.
Another thing: some people are getting thanks for what they are doing during this time of coronavirus. While I agree they deserve thanks, there are many others not being mentioned who also deserve thanks. They include those who make low wages in hospitals, like chaplains, admitting clerks, and those in housekeeping, laundry, food service, and maintenance. In addition, bus drivers, taxi drivers, janitorial workers, garbage collectors, and others are all still working and also deserve thanks and recognition.
