It is painful watching our country being destroyed by greed and dishonesty.
Sometimes I think God has sent this virus, a modern-day plague, as punishment for our rebellion against Him. Many do not choose to believe in God. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (the Holy Bible). Many do not attend church to learn about God. Too many churches have strayed from the truth of God’s word.
Believers in the truth of God’s word need to be in earnest prayer for our country. Many churches now have an online presence because we can no longer gather together. My church services are now available on YouTube. I pray that nonbelievers take advantage of this opportunity to learn about God and accept Jesus as their savior. You only have to ask Jesus to come into your heart and save you. He will listen to you.
TBN has many godly pastors. Two of my favorites are Charles Stanley and David Jeremiah. Christian radio (98.5) is also helpful.
Many of the problems in society come from people doing what is right in their own eyes. Reading the Bible and praying can guide you to right and joyful living. In the book of Proverbs it reads, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.”
