I believe that almost every person who has spent at least a decade or two on the planet and who has been mostly awake and sober can agree with the following statement: Most of the time, objects and events that are encountered in life are pretty much as they appear. Otherwise, our lives would consist of nothing but debilitating, dangerous noise, and we’d all rapidly go insane. Think of it as the “sense” in “common sense.”
Apply that concept to the recent national election.
