My reason for writing is the excessive gas prices not only in the Northland but across the country.
I do not believe there is a shortage of oil anywhere in this country. I believe Big Oil purposely cut back oil production to cause price increases, thus substantially increasing their profits. If so, this is corporate greed at its finest.
We should all contact our federal and state representatives and ask them to investigate the oil companies and, hopefully, force them to reduce gas prices. How much profit is enough?
