Let us put aside our current president of the United States, who has the mental and emotional capacity of a child. Let us put aside the apparent hypnotic behavior he has to put reasonably intelligent people under his spell. Let us put aside his followers, who for some unknown reason will never waiver from his abnormal behavior.
Let us Americans who have been heeding the advice of our professional health care experts — the experts who have spent their entire lives trying to keep us safe and free from horrendous viruses that can invade our planet — remain diligent in our social distancing. It is the one thing we average, normal citizens can do.
It is appalling to see people flocking to Florida beaches and taking to the streets around the state capitols, seeking freedom. Freedom from what ? We Americans have always been so privileged to live lives of freedom. Please don't allow a man with no empathy, no morals, and no scruples ruin it for us.
Please stay home and listen to the adults in the world.
