The News Tribune’s Nov. 13 editorial — Our View: “ 'Carbon fee and dividend' a climate strategy Democrats, Republicans both can embrace, ” was excellent.
The bill described would indeed be a win-win, as the editorial stated, and both parties should be able to support it. In fact, Republicans should consider passing it in the lame-duck session to avoid having the Democrats pass regulations and spending next year that Republicans would find less desirable.
