I feel so blessed to live in such a beautiful place, surrounded by nature, with trails everywhere!
Brighton Beach is one of my favorite places to walk, and I share the trails with many dog owners, most of whom pick up after their dogs. I can’t thank them enough for being so responsible in keeping our town clean and beautiful. Lake Superior is one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world, and we want to keep her waters clean.
Once in a while I will see a little plastic bag thrown along the side of the road or on a picnic table, and it makes me so sad. But I am grateful that most pet owners are conscientious. I thank them for that!
