Dave McMillan would bring great experience and leadership as the University of Minnesota Duluth’s interim chancellor (“ Former U of M regent denies UMD chancellor application quid pro quo ,” June 18).

Dave understands the university, knows Duluth well, and actively seeks productive connections between the university, our community, and the larger world. Dave cares deeply about UMD and would promote its success across all areas.

We would be fortunate to have Dave bring his leadership experience, knowledge, integrity, and passion for education into this role.
