We can do this, Duluth!
We may not have a confirmed case of COVID-19 yet in our area, but the chance that it is either already here or will be soon is almost certain.
We can dig deep and find our best selves. I know we can.
We can touch base with our neighbors, letting them know that we are available. We can encourage people to ask for help, assuring them that it will be there for them. If you can give help, do so. It may just mean picking up a couple more cans of soup at the grocery store and dropping them off outside a door, but it may mean the world to someone. Our medical professionals who will be on the front lines could do with a daily dose of thanks, a colorful bouquet, or a hot meal after a long day.
This may be one of the most difficult things we have gone through, but we have the resources, the kindness, the generosity, and the work ethic to soften the inevitable blows. I know we do.
