Reader's View: Headline about ‘protesters’ was misleading

Reader's View.jpg

The Aug. 28 News Tribune headline, " Trump knocks protesters against racial injustice during New Hampshire rally ," was totally and, I suspect, purposely misleading.

Those thugs — or protesters to anyone who insists on continuing to be dishonest — were attempting to threaten, terrorize, intimidate, and assault individuals who attended the Republican National Convention closing ceremonies at the White House. That is not protesting! That is rioting, and if the News Tribune can't tell the difference, then it is in the wrong business.

It is disturbing to me that the integrity of the newspaper specifically and news media in general is so compromised as to allow such an erroneous portrayal to be published.
