Reader's View: Grad story ignored accomplishments of women

Women have been taking care of children, working, and putting themselves (he did not) through school for decades.

I was very irritated reading the May 14 front-page story about a "stay-at-home dad" who is graduating from the College of St. Scholastica (“ A second try and a new career ”).

So what?! Women have been taking care of children, working, and putting themselves (he did not) through school for decades. Apparently, the News Tribune does not see that accomplishment as front-page news. The newspaper needs to get with what has been and continues to be going on for women. We have to be twice as good to get half the notice (or any notice).
