Reader's View: Considering DC, be thankful for Netflix

The freak show in the Capitol is almost over. The president is now a monarch and will make good on his boast that he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue in New York City and not lose any supporters. Come to think of it, that might have been a campaign promise. I'm sure it will be a perfect shooting, and there will be no witnesses — at least not until the very last five minutes before midnight.

Maybe Ukraine could investigate the corruption in the U.S.

This year should be a great big distraction from the important reforms needed in housing, education, and health care.

I’m thankful for Netflix.
