Given recent events and comments, will Black Lives Matter signs continue to be displayed by Duluth residents?

Founders of Black Lives Matter have referred to themselves as “trained Marxists.”

Hawk Newsome, chairman of Black Lives Matter of Greater New York, was quoted by Newsweek on June 25 saying, “If this country doesn't give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it."

CNN reported on Sept. 1 that, “Hundreds of Black Lives Matter protesters marched through the streets of Oakland, Calif., last Wednesday, chanting, 'Death to America’.”

Four days later, in Lower Manhattan, Black Lives Matter protesters were captured on video, now posted to YouTube, chanting, "Every city, every town, burn the precinct to the ground."
