I see the radical Duluth City Council went ahead with the 5-cent plastic grocery bag “tax.” Ridiculous. I guess the City Council doesn’t have anything better to do than think up more taxes to pick the pockets of its residents.
The council members must have never gone grocery shopping. Most of the items you buy come in plastic, and most aren’t recyclable. They get thrown out in what? A plastic kitchen garbage bag.
Duluth’s bag fee is government overreach and doesn't make sense.
You need to vote these people out come election time.
