When my brother and sister were small, my mother left them in the house while she hung clothes on the line. Upon returning she saw the pantry door was shut and the children were not in the kitchen. The little children's voices shouted from inside the pantry, "Don't come in!"

Now, any mother worth her salt would know there was a guilty sound to those voices and something was up that ought not to be.

Rep. Kevin McCarthy, leader of the Republicans in the U.S. House, and others who were there during the insurrection are now the subject of a request by the committee investigating the insurrection to the communication companies to save the communications by these folks during the time the House was under attack. Republicans are protesting loudly for the companies to not honor the committee's request.

Now, any voter worth their salt can immediately sense there is a sound of guilt with this, and it definitely needs to be investigated.

And yes, my brother and sister were up to something. They had opened a 100-pound bag of flour and had enjoyed throwing the flour into the air, and in so doing they were covered with the white stuff and so was every corner of the pantry.
