After reading the story, "Grimm, Musolf elected to St. Louis County Board," on Nov. 4, I found myself questioning if there was a simple omission of the county commissioner race in the 7th District. Or was there more to it than a simple omission?
The story included plenty of coverage of the two races in the 5th and 3rd districts. District 2 Commissioner Patrick Boyle was even mentioned, after running unopposed.
What the News Tribune failed to mention were any election results from District 7, which represents the Hibbing area. Current St. Louis County Board Chairman Mike Jugovich didn't get a single word to let readers know he will continue to represent them for the next four years. How is it that the News Tribune missed the only county commissioner election north of Cotton?
One cannot help but wonder if the Duluth newspaper has an issue with Commissioner Jugovich? Or the Iron Range? Or both?
