The Dec. 14 letter, “Congress can ensure a livable future,” was right on. It hurts that more of society doesn’t understand current problems and future problems caused by the government. These problems are in plain sight.

“Those requiring services … expect to be served in their native language,” the letter stated. For starters, this refers to voting.

“Ethnic groups establish their own grievance lobbies and push for preferences,” the letter also said. Meanwhile, some groups don’t dare express a contering opinion, as others will jump up and call “racist” or “homophobic” or some other new word just learned.

Lastly, the letter stated, “Mass immigration … has the potential to turn the U.S. into a Third-World country during the lifetimes of today’s children.” Is that the legacy you want to pass on to your children?
