I understand President Donald Trump being very accommodating to Saudi Arabia. Its royalty and citizens spend huge amounts of money at Trump facilities.

On the other hand, 15 of the 19 suicide bombers on 9/11 were Saudis, and, of course, so was their leader, Osama Bin Laden. And we have Jamal Kashoggi, an American resident, assassinated by the Saudis.

So because of world dependence upon their oil, we want to punish the perpetrators of the oil-field bombings? It seems the president wants badly to make Iran the villain — even though the Houthis claim they were the perpetrators and promise more of the same.

Saudi Arabia also finances countless Madrases throughout the Middle East that teach dreadful and dangerous lies about Christians and Jews. Saudi Arabia is not a NATO member. So why do we want to start a shooting war for them when we were not attacked?
