After the June 28 decision by the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission to approve the Line 3 Replacement Project, emotions ranged from relief and victory to rage.

My personal perspective, aside from that single issue, is that energy companies and their allies have every opportunity to be part of the solution and maintain their position in the economy.

But no, instead of accepting and embracing a green-energy future, the energy companies and their allies disparage it and play pocket pool with their stranded assets. Best of luck to them.
