Reyna Crow's article about voter ID was so on target. There are so many other problems with requiring ID to vote that have not been addressed, like will you be turned away if your picture does not look like you; I've been questioned at other places about my ID. Some people just don't take good pictures. Appearances may have changed since it was taken; you hear about it all the time when people lose or gain a lot of weight. There are other changes, too, that might make you not look like your picture, and people just don't want to go and get it redone before their license expires.
Another thing is that people get phony IDs to drink, so if someone really wanted to commit voter fraud they could just get a phony ID.
In my personal opinion, the voter ID is just a way for the Republican Party to keep voters they don't want to vote away by saying everyone needs to have ID to vote.
