Regarding the article in the Aug. 5 Budgeteer headlined, "31st Salmonfest dinner for families of prisoners" on page 5: This is the first I've heard of this event. Are you kidding? What do you mean by (families) "torn apart through no fault of their own"? Who do you think raised them?
House of Hope? And they're giving them free room and board? This is sick. Give the homeless free room and board. Give the money to the vets, Boys and Girls Club mentoring, or something.
