Fifty years ago, the nation witnessed the assassination of one of the most influential civil rights leaders. Today, as we look toward the future in hopes of continuing the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., let's remember what he lived and fought for. Let us sacrifice what we must, remain uncomfortable with the setup of our current institution, and dismantle systemic oppression by using our power to positively change our communities.
