Lately, the University of Wisconsin-Superior never ceases to negatively amaze me. I cannot believe some people might think academic cuts could help better support students. ("UWS suspends several programs," Nov. 1). The university must really think we all are very stupid.

This was very sad and disappointing. The university will end up losing everything, including international students who go there now because, one, it is cheaper than other places and, two, there are a lot of options regarding classes and majors. Why should international students come to UWS if there are fewer choices and the university leaders seem to think we are stupid?
