Tricia Jean Lanthier

Tricia (Trish) Jean Lanthier blossomed into our world on August 10, 1972; to parents Mary and Jim Towers of Proctor, MN. Her eyes sparkled with mischief and her laugh was infectious. Framing her face was a cascade of dark curls.
Tricia didn’t grow tall, but she did grow strong, competing on the Eagles Gymnast Team, Cloquet. At Proctor High School she was a cheerleader, and a competitive swimmer and diver, holding a diving record at the school. She was a lifeguard at Park Point.
Trish completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at UW – Eau Claire, and moved back to Duluth to live and work. She married C. Peter (Pete) Lanthier on September 29, 2001, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Proctor.
They had two beautiful sons; Trevor now 16 and Caleb 12. Family was the center of Tricia’s life. She was a hockey and soccer mom, and a motivating force in the Bent Trout Campground family.
Tricia died of massive injuries on July 7th, from an ATV accident. She was cremated. Remembering this remarkable woman are her husband, Pete Lanthier, sons Trevor and Caleb. Parents, Mary and Jim Towers; brother Brian, wife Cara and children: Kadin, Kaley and Kellen. Too numerous to name are those in the Lanthier family, the Quick family, the extended Towers family, the Proctor Rails ‘family’ and the Bent Trout ‘family’. “Take care, brush your hair!”
Due to COVID, a Visitation Celebration Walk-Through will be Saturday, July 11th at Trinity Episcopal Church, from 10 AM to Noon; 4903 Maple Grove Road, Hermantown. She loved life and brought zest to each endeavor.
She loved her family, her friends and watching a sunset.
She found beauty everywhere she went.
She left her footprints on our hearts.
