Richard J. Stueber

Richard J. Stueber, age 82 of Cloquet, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Barnes Care in Esko. He was born May 4, 1938 in McGregor, MN, the son of Gerhard and Loretta (Reilly) Stueber. Dick graduated from McGregor High School. He worked at Diamond Brands prior to working as a clerk at the Cloquet Post Office for 38 years. He bowled on many bowling leagues in Cloquet and enjoyed traveling, music and had a huge collection of movies. Most especially, Dick enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Charles and Patrick. He is survived by one son, Joe (Tammy) Stueber; one daughter, Sue (Kent) Oswald; four grandchildren, Samantha, Sarah, Tony (Melissa), and Mandie; two great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Cadence; one great-great-granddaughter, Jazlyn; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet. Masks and social distancing are required. The service will be broadcasted on 91.1 FM Radio from the funeral home parking lot. Interment will be held at Silverbrook Cemetery in Wrenshall in the spring of 2021.
