Pam was called to be with our Lord the morning of June 25th, 2020. Although sudden and unexpected, she bravely battled health issues for years, and fought to the very end. Pam started life as a lovely Christmas gift born to Richard and Norma Bloom, on December 21st, 1965. She was a 1984 graduate of Carlton HS, fell in love and was married in May of 1986. In 34 years of marriage, most as a β€œnavy mom”, she raised 3 beautiful children. She was an amazing mom. Pam was also an aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Pam loved people, enjoyed family and friends along with card playing and visiting local casinos. She was also involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation, attending many events and conventions. She  will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Bloom; and is survived by her father Richard Bloom, Cloquet; husband Anthony J. Abbott, Jr., Carlton; her children, Brianna Abbott and Richard Abbott, Duluth, and Anthony (Alicia) Abbott-Kline, St. Paul; along with her sisters, Paula (Gene) Wright, Crestview, FL and Patricia (Terry) Johnson, Ft Walton Beach, FL. A private gathering is planned in her remembrance.
