SUPERIOR, Wis. - Vern G. Oaks Jr., 81, Superior, Wis., died Wednesday, Oct. 12, in his home.

Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m., followed by a funeral at 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 20, at Downs Funeral Home in Superior. Burial with military honors will be 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, in Greenwood Cemetery Superior.
