Lorraine May MacLeod

Lorraine May Macleod, 94, died on May 26th in Post Falls, Idaho. She was born on March 26, 1928, to Arthur and Myrtle Branscomb in Duluth, MN. She married William MacLeod in 1945 when he returned from his military service. Together they settled in Munger and raised their two children, Bonnie, and Tom. Lorraine was employed at the Nopeming nursing home.

Upon their retirement, they moved to Bradenton, Florida. They spent many enjoyable summers in their retirement years touring the country on their motorcycle. Lorraine got the urge to move again and the two of them settled in Tucson Arizona. When Bill died, she moved to Spokane Washington to be with her sister. Lorraine was a kind person who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. 

Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, siblings Gerald Branscomb, Barb Larson, June Branscomb, and Elenore Happy. She is survived by her children, Bonnie MacLeod, Tom (Faye) MacLeod, grandson Darrell (Krissy) Godfrey, great grandson Travis Godfrey, and many nieces and nephews.

At Lorraine’s request there will be no service.
