Christian, Vietnam veteran, fisherman, and RV camper, Joseph Robert “Joe” Stingl, entered into heaven in the early morning hours of Thursday, September 8, 2022.

Joe was born to Raymond and Ina Stingl in Duluth, Minnesota, on December 5, 1942. In 1961, he proudly enlisted in the United States Navy. Following his military service, Joe worked at Sears and retired after 33 years.

On September 7, 1968, Joe married the love of his life, Nancy and together they had three children: Jennifer, Jonathan and Jeremiah (Bianca). Joe built three houses for his family, one in Minnesota, and two in Georgia. His grandchildren, Makani and Kai, were his pride and joy.

Joe also served the Lord in many capacities including the Royal Rangers and RV Volunteers of the Assemblies of God. Anyone who knew Joe knew he was always ready to lend a helping hand to fix an appliance or remodel a house. You will rarely find a man as generous with his time and talents as Joe.

There will be a memorial service honoring Joe on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Duluth Gospel Tabernacle, 1515 W. Superior Street in Duluth, Minnesota 55806. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service for a visitation.
