09/07/1932 - 10/22/2022 Born in Syracuse NY. He served in the Army during the Korean War then went to work for the US Forest Service until his retirement. He was able to travel the world with his wife and enjoyed archeological digs in Amman, Jordan. He is survived by his wife Gerda, daughters Virginia, Genevieve, Monica, son Jonathan as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren. Donald requested no services, but rather if anyone wishes to honor his life to plant a tree!
