Christine Ann Dezie-Exferd

Christine Ann Dezie-Exferd, 62, of Oconto, WI., died Wednesday February 16th, 2022, at Care Partners Assisted Living Facility. 

She was born Feb. 27th, 1959, in Duluth, Minnesota to Leonard and  Jessie Dezie. Christine was in the Duluth East High School  graduating class of 1977. She then worked many years for the Ball  Corporation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Christine eventually moved  to Oconto, WI., and married James Exferd in 2007. Christine then  started her cleaning business, which was remarkably successful.

Her many hobbies included looking for agates, gardening, boating,  dancing, and reading. Overall, Christine loved spending quality time  with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents  Leonard and Jessie Dezie and her husband James Exferd. She is  survived by her two sisters Leslie (Joe) Flynn and Andrea (John)  Almquist; nieces, Baley Gagne, Riley Jo Flynn, Jayna Almquist, Sarah  Ina’amii; nephew, Mike Almquist; great nieces and nephews, Kylie  and CJ Almquist, Mackenzie and Madison Majcharzak, Johnny Ray  Gagne, and Ayva Ladd.

Funeral services will be Saturday February  26th, at Gallagher Funeral Home in Oconto, Wisconsin. Visitation will  be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with service right after. Burial will be at  a future date.
