Florence M. Flynn Dailey

Florence M. Flynn Dailey, 94, of Duluth, passed away peacefully with family by her side, on Monday, October 26, 2020.

She was born in Oliver, WI, on January 1, 1926, to Frank and Olga Turk.

Florence graduated from Brookston High School, she was a member of St Rose Church, Proctor American Legion, and the Proctor Moose. She worked as a transcriber in the ER in St Mary’s Hospital.

She enjoyed sewing, playing cards, going to the casino, puzzles, traveling, making pasties, and most importantly spending time with family and friends, especially at the family cabin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Philip “Mickey” Flynn, and Ken Dailey; son, Glenn Flynn; daughter, Colleen Stahl; and brothers, Mel and Vic Turk.

Florence is survived by her children, Mark (Carole) Flynn, Jill (Galen) Karlson, Chuck Flynn, son-in-law, Ray Stahl; grandchildren, Glenn (Angie) Stahl, Kelly (Vance) Okstad, Eric (Becca) Karlson, Rachel (Dustin) Brooks, Philip (Shelly) Flynn, Nick (Gaby) Flynn, Travis (Mackenzie) Flynn, Brandon Flynn, Kailey McHargue; great-grandchildren, Courtney, Hunter, Griffin, Gavin, Wyatt, Nolan, Oden, Will, Riley, Jack, and Nico; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorials can be directed to the Salvation Army of Duluth, in Florence’s memory.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11AM, Friday, October 30, 2020, with visitation one-hour prior, at St Rose Catholic Church, 2 Sixth Ave., Proctor, MN 55810, burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Service will be livestreamed at 11AM on the Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home Facebook Page.
