Norman Sundeen

Norman “Chuck” Sundeen, 90, of Gulfport, FL passed away July 12, 2020 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL He was raised in Duluth, MN and was a graduate of Denfeld High School and earned a Degree in Accounting from University of Minnesota-Duluth. He played on the first ever hockey team for the UMD Bulldogs in 1947, eventually becoming a captain. For nearly 50 years, Norman worked as a Certified Internal Auditor for US Steel. He was married to Lucille (Choyer) Sundeen for 49 years before her passing in 2008. They loved to travel and went on many cruises. Always humble, Norman lived life in low-key fashion. He had many great qualities; honest, caring, and generous. He donated to 20+ charities and foundations every year. He was a loyal friend to many and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his son, Marc, and his half-sister Karen. A Gathering will be held 11am to 1pm Sunday, July 19, 2020, at Beach Memorial Chapel, St. Pete Beach, FL. beachmemorial.com
