Mary Beth Carr

Mary Beth Carr, age 81, of was born January 24th, 1939, and died May 16th, 2020, of Cancer at Banner Boswell Medical Center, Sun City West, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Bernice Carr, and her brother, Jack Carr. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Dianne Carr and her loving dog, Sam.

Mary Beth graduated from Duluth East High School in 1957, The College of St. Scholastica in 1961, and moved to Philadelphia, PA upon graduation. She worked at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, as Director of Health Information Systems until she retired in 1997.

Mary Beth had two passions in life. She loved quilting and making beautiful items for family and friends. When not quilting, she loved to travel. She loved coming to Duluth to see family and friends, traveled to Maine, Alaska, Italy, and in earlier years, spending summer weekends at the New Jersey shore with friends.

Her ashes will be sent to Duluth where they will be blessed, before being placed next to her brother, Jack.
