Kristin K. Maypole

Our beautiful and beloved daughter, Kristin K. Maypole, 50, of Oro Valley, Arizona, died unexpectedly of natural causes at her home on June 3, 2020.

Kristin was born in Madison, WI on September 2, 1969 the daughter of Donald and Mary Jane Maypole. She graduated from Duluth East High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth and her Masters Degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin Superior.

She had held three internships in Washington D.C. for the State Department, Senator Russ Feingold, and the White House. She was currently working for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection as the Enthusiastic Awards Coordinator.

Kristin enjoyed traveling and traveled on many trips with her mom to Europe and South America. She was great at arts and crafts and loved animals, especially her dogs.

Kristin is survived by her parents, Donald and Mary Jane of Lake Nebagamon; brother, Nathan (Cynthia) Maypole of Cranberry Township, PA; and nieces and nephew, Kaitlin, Jacob and Rachel.

A private family graveside service will be held at Lake Nebagamon Cemetery.
