June Lenore Kingsley

June Lenore Kingsley, 79 of Cromwell died Friday, October 18, 2019 in Essentia Health, Duluth. June was born on October 10, 1940 in Holyoke to Vernie and Sybil Wicklund. She attended school in Holyoke and Wrenshall. She married Kenneth Kingsley in Carlton on December 21, 1957.

June worked as a CNA in area nursing homes. She worked for Eagle Lake Nursing Home in Cromwell for 24 years, and at Mercy Hospital Care Center in Moose Lake for 10 years.

She was a volunteer at the local food shelf, and was a member of the Ladies Aid and the Methodist Church in Cromwell. She enjoyed house plants and flowers, reading, crossword and jigsaw puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; son, Kenneth Kingsley III; parents, Vernie and Sybil Wicklund; grandson, Ricky Larson; and brother, Gary Wicklund.

June is survived by her children, Valerie Dynneson of Cloquet, Holly (Gene) Johnson of Deer River, Dawn (Bradley) Grover of Carlton, and Melanie (Gary) Johnson of Cromwell; sisters, Elaine Black and Janie Kruger both of Wrenshall; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and 2 step great grandchildren.

Visitation: 10 until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in Bethany Lutheran Church in Cromwell. A lunch will follow in the church fellowship hall.
